In what could be seen as a shocking incident, a man had reportedly set himself ablaze at the BJP Meeting organised in Nalgonda district which marked the National party's one year rule. The Victim who was since identified as Shankar reportedly resorted to the extreme step while Telangana unit BJP chief G Kishan Reddy was addressing the large gathering.
Shanker reportedly poured kerosene on himself
While Kishan Reddy started his speech, Shanker reportedly poured kerosene on himself and set himself ablaze which happened in the presence of hundreds of BJP Activists. Soon, BJP Workers were seen rushing him to the Nalgonda district head quarters hospital.
Shankar is reportedly a Congress worker who actually had come to the meeting for submitting a memorandum to the state BJP Chief. His condition is reportedly critical. Shocked by this move, Kishan Reddy promptly asked his leaders to take care of his treatment even as he was rushed away from the stage in Nalgonda town.
