Singapore Experts Team and its major consultant, Surbana is readying to submit the Seed Capital Master Plan and the state government is gearing up to begin the capital construction from Dussehra. However there are doubts being raised on the capability of Surbana in Amaravati construction. They first major objection is the lack of experience to Subrana in city planning.
The only city planning experience Surabana possess is designing Kigali, the capital of Rwanda, an African country. The master plan of Kigali is also criticized by UK's Department for International Development saying that the plan was completely out of touch with the reality of land markets and incomes.
Also experts feel that Surbana did not properly understand the local conditions before the Master plan preparation. The Master Plan was prepared based on available maps and satellite data and the final plan is being readied with the same data. Several critical climate parameters and socio economic conditions were not considered.
