Section 8 in AP state reorganisation act is now becoming huge controversy with Andhra Pradesh and Telangana up in arms fighting for the rights over common capital Hyderabad. While Andhra Pradesh is arguing that law and order in Hyderabad is the responsibility of both governments, Telangana is arguing that Hyderabad belongs to it and law and order is its state subject and it will not tolerate any interference.

TDP leader Motkupalli Narasimhulu speaking to scribes lashed out at Telangana government and TRS leaders argument and their criticism of AP CM Chandra Babu Naidu. He questioned how could all sections in AP reorganisation act become good and only section 8 become bad.

He questioned whether TDP chief Chandra Babu drafted section 8 or birfucation laws. He said Telangana CM KCR many times claimed that he and UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi formulated the act with him suggesting commas and fullstops.
He said during that time Chandra Babu was leader of the opposition and he was not aware of the politics played by KCR and Sonia Gandhi.
