They don't have any proofs and victims cannot even approach police for the lack of evidence. They cannot question fake babas for the fear of inviting their curse.
Fake Babas are getting emboldened
Fake Babas are getting emboldened by the helplessness of the victims and are daring them to prove them wrong. Fake babas offer solutions to anything and everything. They promise to solve marriage pproblems,court cases,ghosts,court cases,careers and even film opportunities.
Khalid Ahmed from Talabkatta said he had to pay 3600Rs to solve his relationship issues and said he was taken for a ride. He added that he didnot go to police for the fear of blackmagic curse. Some Phone Babas offer solutions through pone calls and without disclosing their location they mint money asking people deposit them in their bank accounts.
Phone babas disappear
Police who investigated some cases found that once they cheat people,phone babas disappear or many operate from other states using Hyderabad SIMs. Cyber cops said a phone baba account was in Ghaziabad but he claimed that he is in Hyderabad. Police promised to nab fraud babas if anyone complains against them and added recently a sorcerer was arrested.
