They had been waiting in the wings desperately for 10 long years expecting rewards after the party had come to power, and now sources say that loyal TDP leaders are putting pressure on chief minister Chandrababu Naidu. They have reportedly extracted an assurance from the CM that all the future nominated posts would be filled up only with party loyalists.

Naidu was facing fire from the party cadre as he had been doling out several important nominated posts to those who joined his team after he became the CM, leaving out party loyalists. Several leaders reportedly expressed their displeasure against Naidu as he had doled out key posts to only outsiders.

Parakala Prabhakar as the communications advisor

Based on the feedback from party leaders as well as his son Lokesh, the CM has stopped giving posts to the non-political people. Babu had appointed Parakala Prabhakar as the communications advisor, C Kutumba Rao became the vice-chairman of the Planning Board, P Krishnaiah as the APIIC chairman, followed by J Satayanarayana and CS Rao as advisors, P Saibabu, G Subba Rao, CL Kantha Rao and many others.

Gauging the mood of his party, Naidu has reportedly held back some key appointments for which he had given earlier a green signal.  He would be reportedly taking up appointments to nominated posts during the last week of August for nearly 26 government corporations where the chairmen posts would be filled up.
