Telangana is the richest state in India and if information is true then it may turn even richer. It is coming out that there are diamond mines in the state of Telangana. Researchers from the Centre for Exploration Geophysics, Osmania University found out 21 new diamond potential zones in Mahaboobnagar district and in the villages surrounding Gulbarda and Raichur. Many places on road between Raichur and Mahabubnagar are potential diamond zones.
Diamond zones
Some of the other diamond zones include Narayanpet, Gurmatkal, Ammireddypalle, Damaragidda, and Nidugurthi in Mahbubnagar district. This is pure delight to Telangana people and CM KCR as he is promising to turn the state into Bangaru Telangana.
It is coming out that Anantapur, Kadapa, Guntur, Krishna, Prakasam and Kurnool also have potential diamond zones. Telangana has history of Golkonda fort where diamonds used to be sold in heaps along roadside.
