AP CM Chandrababu Naidu seems to be on a new plan when it comes to the special status issue for the state which is being prolonged for a long time. Sources say that no one is able to understand what is his game plan as everyone is confused.
When there is already a hint from Centre that this status cannot be given, there is an opinion that Babu may be negotiating a good package at least. Given the precarious financial situation, one can only wonder whether Centre can indeed announce such a thing.
At the same time, there are even indications that Naidu may have decided to call off the alliance but those who are aware of Babu are confident that he is not the one who will run away from access to higher power corridors. BJP is also aware well that Congress is planning to make this a big issue.
Chandrababu meets Modi
So Naidu may be planning to fight for special status but agree for a hefty package which can benefit the state immensely. One can only be skeptical over what may happen in Delhi in the coming week when Chandrababu meets Modi.
