Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu may be tightening screws on his political rival, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy via his connections with the central government. The CBI court had decided to fast track the cases of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's illegal assets. The court in Nampally had decided that the court will only deal with his cases every Friday.

This may be the first time, a court dedicated a day in a week entirely for a case. The court proceedings will begin with hearing on discharge petitions. So far CBI had filed 11 cases on Jagan and there are 11 charge sheets as well. Jagan's lawyers want to treat all these cases as one but CBI is not agreeing as each case is different and complex.

Allegations are that Jagan liberally used the power of his late father during his tenure as Chief Minister of the state and amassed One Lakh Crore illegal wealth by quid-pro-quo deals. YSR government had done undue favours to several industrialists for the sake of investments in Jagan companies.
