When all people of Andhra Pradesh along with various NGOs,opposition and ruling party is fighting unitedly for special status or atleast special package for the state from the Union Government, AP Minister embarassed Chief Minister chandra Babu Naidu.
Environment Minister said special status demand
Bojjala Gopala Krishna Reddy, state Forest and Environment Minister said special status demand is only for selfish gains. He said neither the state nor the people will gain anything from special status if Union Government led by Modi give go ahead for the special package.
Speaking to scribes he said once the special package is given,only the ruling TDP will benefit immensely. He said BJP govt at centre already agreed to give Rs 1 lakh crores and one neednot get surprised if it gives even more.
He went on to add that he will go even to the extent of begging or robbing to help the poor benefit of Government schemes. He said he will take strict action against those who are robbing the forest reserves.
