People for many years are experiencing scares at the thought of traveling in trains. This is due to frequent accidents due to derailments and due to human negligence.
Now they are fearing for their lives due to gang of robbers who are attacking them at select points. Now a female IPS officer,SM.Ratna was attacked by gang of robbers in Nellore district when she was traveling on Simhapuri Express from Hyderabad to Chennai.
Robbers gang which boarded the train near Nellore, started robbing passengers. When they tried to rob SM.Ratna,she resisted which angered them. They smashed her head against the window and snatched her 32 grams gold jewellery and cash worth Rs 2000.
Police rushed her to Gudur Government hospital after receiving information from her co passengers. They are now planning to shift her to Apollo Hospital in Nellore. Lady officer who missed Charminar Express, was allocated seat in Simhapuri Express.
