Coal Block allocation scam under PM Manmohan Singh's decade long rule shocked entire nation and CBI recently filed charge sheet naming former minister of state for coal Dasari Narayana Rao along with 11 others in the scam.

During the Delhi High Court hearing while unlike many leaders who refrained from making direct allegations against the former PM Manmohan Singh, Dasari Narayana Rao accused Manmohan Singh for the coal scam. He even dared the authorities to include Manmohan Singh's name in the charge sheet and gave in writing to the court. This surprised many as even opposition leaders donot make such accusation against Manmohan Singh.
Hearing former Congress Minister Dasari accusing Manmohan Singh,TDP leader Somireddy Chandrasekhar Reddy started giving new ideas to PM Modi on coal scam investigation.
He said rather than including Manmohan Singh's name, CBI should include Congress Preisdent,UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi's name as it was she who controlled PM Manmohan Singh. He went on to say Manmohan was unaware of the coal scam and Sonia knew inside out of the scam and it is better to investigate her.
