Minister, mining baron Gali Janardhan Reddy got shock when the Special
Investigation Team (SIT) conducted raids on his residence in Bellary.
Janardhan Reddy is the prime accused in Obulapuram illegal mining case.
Officials according to sources seized important documents. Kausalya Kumar,
headed a five member SIT team to conduct raids.
SIT formed different teams and conducted raids at various locations
simultaneously. Raids were conducted not only at Janardhan Reddy's Bellary
residence but also at four other locations.
Sources say raids were conducted in various places in Karnataka. Reason for the
SIT raids are yet to be known. More details are awaited on this shocking
developments.
