T Congress after its defeat to TRS in the last elections in the newly formed state of Telangana started playing second fiddle on various issues. Even when some of its younger MLAs tried to take on CM KCR and the ruling party, seniors like Jana Reddy admonished them and more surprisingly made them apologise to TRS party.
Many wondered where T congress is heading with such attitude. Even in the upcoming assembly session, its leaders planned to adopt soft attitude. However all that may change as Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy threatened to complain against TPCC leaders with Congress President Sonia Gandhi.
Sudhakar Reddy demanded discussion
This seems to have had the desired effect as they decided to take on the ruling TRS in over an inconsequential issue. Sudhakar Reddy demanded discussion on Polavaram low lying areas in T assembly.
This shocked many as Andhra Pradesh assembly completely ignored the issue. When even TPCC started ignoring Ponguleti's demand, he threatened to complain against them with Sonia Gandhi. The question is how much Congress will gain by raising this issue in T assembly.
