Jupudi Prabhakar Rao has enjoyed the same importance in TDP like what he enjoyed in YSRCP. TDP President Chandra Babu Naidu offered MLC ticket to Jupudi immediately after joined in TDP but because of some technical problems (name not exist in AP state), Jupudi missed the chance. Jupudi Prabhakar is continuing his support to TDP and AP Government policies and raised his voice to check YSRCP.
Jupudi is basically from Prakasam district and from Mala community. He didn’t get success in 2014 general elections from Kondepi Assembly Segment as YSRCP Nominee. Differences with Balineni Srinivas Reddy were one of the reasons for Jupudi’s defeat in Kondepi. Jupudi has a plan to make a split among YSRCP MLAs in the district with his personal relations. Two of the key YSRCP MLAs have interested to join in TDP.
They are waiting for Chandra Babu’s green signal to join in TDP. Both TDP (after joining Amanchi Krishna Mohan) and YSRCP have 6 MLAs each in the district. Jupudi Prabhakar is the man behind them. Jupudi made strong counter to YSRCP with his voice on Anusha Suicide and protected TDP Government. YSRCP leaders are silent after the attack of Jupudi in Ritheswari case. YSRCP can’t digest Jupudi’s aggressiveness in district politics.
