YSRCP President YS Jagan is doing hunger strike for getting Special Status to AP since last two days. Earlier, he was announced his protest and postponed for not getting permission from Guntur Police. YSRCP again announced latest date (October 07th) for Jagan’s protest for Special Status to AP. He sat in outskirts of Guntur City at Nallapadu amid of YSRCP cadre and leaders. It is interesting that there was no media coverage in all News Channels on agitation.

Except in SAKSHI, none of the channels were not covered this agitation. There are number of News Channels in AP. Every Channel is supported by an industrialist or political party. There are some channels that were supported by YSRCP in backend. They even conducted regular surveys before 2014 general elections and predicted YSRCP victory in their channels. Even that Pro-YSRCP Channels too not covered much on Jagan’s agitation. It’s surprising every one and shocked to YSRCP cadre.

On the other hand, there was no much response to Jagan’s agitation from the people. In particular, students have not visited to see Jagan who is fighting for the cause. YSRCP did lot of ground work before Jagan sat for hunger strike in Nallapadu. Party organized student meetings in Tirupati and Visakhapatnam to ignite fire among the students. The place (Nallapadu) is very much closer to National Highway 5. As per reports, there was no traffic jam in Nallapadu because of Jagan’s fasting. This is also another reason for not telecasting the agitation by Pro-YSRCP news channels.
