Team india suffered a major setback as opener Shikhar Dhawan is going to miss the action due to a thumb fracture. Dhawan was the hero of india's win over australia on Sunday with a knock of 117 off 109 balls. He sustained the Thumb Fracture after being hit on his left thumb by a rising delivery from pacer Nathan Coulter-nile.
However, the good news is that the selectors have got a positive signal from the medical team that Dhawan is likely to be fit by around June 30th. That means he will be back for the crucial knockout matches of the World Cup. Rishabh Pant is being called as his Replacement.
