Former great of Indian cricket kapil dev has resigned the post of CAC chief due to some conflict charges,he was the head of CAC ad hoc committee formed by the BCCI.Former captain of Indian cricket team has resigned from the post of ad hoc CAC (cricket advisory committee), the three members committee was formed a couple of months ago, primarily, the committee was formed to select the head coach of the men’s national cricket team.

The committee was disbanded as its main objective of selecting the head coach was over, said a source from BCCI. BCCI ethics officer DK Jain sent a notice to three members committee consisting of Kapil dev, Anshuman Gaekwad, and Shantha Rangaswamy, as MPCA life member claimed there is an alleged conflict of interest between them. 

 Shantha Rangaswamy had already resigned because she was holding multiple positions in the cricket body.BCCI and CoA legally gave a green signal for formation of the committee with three members, the CAC then went on with the interview process of selecting head coach and eventually selected a candidate.
