Accordingly Wasim Akram's wife Shaniera Akram took to social media to send wishes to the pakistan cricketer who is rated as one of the best left-arm fast bowlers, if not the best in world cricket. Shaniera Akram, an Australian social worker based in pakistan, said she is going to stop all social activities and has clear her schedule for the 'foreseeable future' to be with her husband and spend 'quality time' with him. Shaniera called it a 'quarantine' birthday.

 

"Happy Birthday. wasimakramlive.I have cleared my schedule for the unforeseeable future.I won't be meeting anyone,going to salons,seeing friends or leaving the house unnecessarily.I'm literally going stop all social activities just to spend quality time with you #QuarantineBday," Shaniera wrote on social media. Wasim Akram thanked people for wishing him on his birthday and send he has decided to remain 53 for one more year, considering he has spent more time in quarantine in 2020.

 

Wasim Akram, who played 104 Tests and 356 ODis between 1985 and 2003 for pakistan, married Shaniera in 2013. Akram had proposed to his long-time girlfriend, a former public relations consultant from Australia. Akram's first wife Huma died in 2009 after multiple organ failure. Akram said after his marriage that Shaneria had embraced islam and had been close to his sons.The international cricket Council also wished Wasim Akram on wednesday, sharing some of his jaw-dropping bowling statistics.
