Reports stated top Indian archers deepika Kumari and Atanu Das are all set to tie the knot on june 30 at Morabadi in ranchi, following all the social distancing norms strictly to avoid the Covid-19 threat during the low key wedding ceremony. Archers Association of India’s (AAI) newly elected president arjun munda, a former jharkhand chief minister, who has played a big part in shaping Deepika's Kumari's career, would also be present at the wedding and perform the Kanyadaan ritual.



Meanwhile Deepika's close acquaintance has informed india Today that only 60 invitation cards have been sent out to the guests with all the safety protocols to be followed during the ceremonies printed out on them. deepika said that she would also resort to all the safety norms and measures in order to ensure the safety of the guests and herself in the time of the Covid-19 pandemic. To ensure social distancing, the guests have been invited in different time slots. The first lot needs to leave by 7 pm and then the second batch would check-in and would leave in one and half an hour, the sources informed.

 

Moreover, Deepika's family members and relatives would not be present at the reception to avoid gathering of the crowd. The guests would have to use sanitizers and masks that would be arranged in the banquet hall. deepika Kumari, a former world number one and a Commonwealth Games gold medalist, is currently ranked world No. 9.
