When a sportsman win Olympic medal he or she will be on cloud nine. Same thing happened with Dirk Van Tichelet who won bronze in the men's 73kg judo event at Rio Olympics that are underway in Brazil.
He later went on to celebrated on the Copacabana beach and there he got shock of his life. A receptionist gave shock to the judo expert. Van Tichelt believed the hotel receptionist was hiding a woman who had stolen the phone of his training partner.
He went into altercation but unfortunately for Van Tichlet, the 32 year old hotel receptionist was an expert in Jujitsu. According to sources Van Tichlet chased a woman who stole his partner's phone into the Best Western Hotel where he came in face to face with the receptionist.
The receptionist claimed Van Tichelt broke into his hotel and accused him of hiding the woman. Fight with the receptionist resulted in Van Tichlet the next day turn up to the media with a mighty shiner.
Belgium’s Olympic communications director Luc Rampaer informed ‘The mobile phone of Dirk’s training partner had just been stolen and he ran to try to catch the thief and ended up being hit in the face by another person.’
Insiders say Van Tichlet started the fight before the jujitsu expert retaliated.
