Athletes from various countries across the world are showcasing their talents at Rio Olympics. Many are coming with stunning performances winning record number of Gold and other medals. India too sent record number of athletes for Rio Olympics and before the start of the Olympics, many international economic surveys predicted India to win around 5-12 medals including a Gold.
However much to the disappointment of all Indian fans, all medal hopefuls failed miserably except for a few promoting people like Sobha De come with insulting tweets. Just when all hopes of winning a medal started fading, wrestler Sakshi Malik did country proud by winning a bronze come back from jaws of defeat.

Deepa Karmakar,Adti Ashok did India proud by entering the finals of their respective events. Deepa Karmakar lost medal by a whisker. Few men like Abhinav Bhindra put a good show by losing a medal only by few points.
Over all it boils down to the saying that while Men with their ego clashes shamed the nation, women scripted a silver lining at Rio Olympics.
