Indian Off-Spinner Ravichandran Ashwin is one of the unavoidable assets to the team. The off spinner has emerged to No.1 Rank in All Rounder spot. Despite Rain playing spoil sport on the 4th and final test between Indian and West Indies, the 29 year old off spinner is happy as he made a new unbeatable record.

And this is not just any ordinary record as he has surpassed Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar and Virender Sehwag's record. Yes ! Ashwin has claimed his 6th 'Man of the Series' award of his career and earlier Sachin and Sehwag were jointly sitting on the top with 5 'Man of the Series awards.

However both Sehwag and Sachin took 39 and 74 series to claim 5 'Man of the Series' Awards. But for Ashwin it just took 13 series to surpass the two Cricketing Legends. Ashwin may not be a threat in shorter formats of the game.

But he has been a consistent performer in the long format of the game. He is just 29 and he is one of the biggest hopes of India to beat SriLankan legendary Spinner Muttiah Muralitharan. Muralitharan holds 11 Man of the series awards.
