PV Sindhu who grabbed attention of whole nation by winning a Silver medal at Rio Olympics has ignored Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali's offer for a 'better coach', saying that her current guru Pullela Gopichand is the 'best coach' for her.
Sindhu who spoke to media said, "I feel Gopi sir is the best coach. I am training under him since I was 10 years old. I don't have anything to say about minister's comment." These comments came soon after Ali made an outrage by saying Sindhu deserved a 'better coach' so that she deserves a Gold medal at next Olympics.
Sindhu also got a warm welcome at her home town and she was felicitated by Telangana Government for her stellar performance at Rio games. Coach Gopichand has already produced some top class shuttlers like Saina Nehwal and K.Srikanth.
