In the 1st T20 match between India and Sri Lanka held yesterday at Cuttack stadium, India had batted first scoring 180 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in 20 overs. India won the match by a massive 93 runs difference and established a 1-0 lead in the 3 match T20 series.
One of the shots played By MS Dhoni has become viral, as it could have been life-threatening shot for Lokesh Rahul, had he not taken retaliatory action immediately. Dhoni had batted aggressively recently, and even scored a six off the last ball of the Innings, and proving himself to be the King of finishing and the best batsman for India at number 4 position.
Dhoni's involvement in two dismissals also helped him break the record of AB de Villiers record of most T20 dismissals, with Dhoni now at 74 in 84 matches, 2 ahead of De Villiers. During the course of the match, Dhoni had hit a peculiar shot which went straight and fast towards Rahul, whose immediate reflex action protected him, and post the match Rahul expressed that had he not reacted immediately, the shot could have even cost his life, and funnily remarked he had luckily escaped death and Dhoni had almost killed him.
