Indian player PV Sindhu has created world record by winning the World Badminton series finals. The world badminton series had been played in China, in the finals of the event held yesterday between PV Sindhu who is at the third position in the world badminton players ranking and Nozomi Okuhura, the Japanese player who is at the 7th position in world rankings.

 


The final match was a nail biter and was a sensational one, and PV Sindhu played in an explosive and powerful manner. She captured the first set 21-19, as Nozomi came too close. The second set too, PV Sindhu maintained the aggressive nature, and went on to win the second set also 21-17, and in straight sets, won the match, and became the champion.

With this victory in the world badminton series finals, she has kept a full stop for consecutive failures and has broken the jinx, and her victory has been receiving accolades from all corners.
