Indian skipper Virat Kohli, had a successful series in Australia, as his team won both the test series and the ODI series 2-1, and now he has made a huge haul at the International Cricket Council's (ICC) Test and ODI awards and has been named by ICC as the captain of both the test and ODI teams.

 


Virat is the winner of Sir Garfield Sobers ICC Men's cricketer of the year award for both ODIs and Tests. In 2018 he had scored a massive 1202 runs at a stunning average of 133.55 and also scored a whopping 1322 test runs averaging 55.08. In 2017 also he was the ICC ODI player of the year and in tests, this is the first time he has won the award.

Along with Kohli in both ODI and Test ICC teams, keeper Rishabh Pant and pacer Jasprit Bumrah were the other Indians who featured in ODI team while Rohit Sharma and Kuldeep Yadav were the other Indian players in the Test team selected by ICC.
