Suresh Raina has lodged a complaint against a YouTube channel which had spread fake news that the popular Indian Cricketer had passed away. After the news spread like wildfire, the cricketer's residence and relative’s mobiles and mails and social media accounts were reportedly filled with condolence messages, following which an angered Raina has decided to file a complaint against websites that carried the fake news.
Few days back a video was released on a popular YouTube channel that Raina had passed away in a fatal car accident, and believing this news, more than 5 lakh people had seen the video and shared it as well and currently the views are at 40 lakhs.
Moreover the video was made in such way that the thumbnail had a fake image representing a dead person to make audience believe and open the video, and Raina has posted a tweet to clarify the truth and that he has filed complaints on the channel.
