The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Monday announced India's 15-member squad for the ICC World Cup 2019 to be held in England and Wales from the next month. Dinesh Karthik was picked over Rishabh Pant as the standby Wicket Keeper for MS Dhoni while Vijay Shankar made it over Ambati Rayudu and may play at the Number Four Position.

India will take on South Africa at The Rose Bowl in Southampton to open their campaign on June 6. The much-awaited India vs Pakistan encounter is scheduled for June 16 at the Old Trafford in Manchester. India so far won the coveted Title twice once in 1983 under Kapil Dev's Captaincy and next in 2011 under Dhoni's Captaincy.
