The 39th match of IPL between Chennai super kings and Royal challengers Bangalore began with CSK winning the toss and bowling first. Deepak chahar dismissed skipper Kohli early for 9(8), while Ab De Villiers stood for a while, scoring 25(19), in the company of Akshdeep nath who scored 24(20) before Ravindra Jadeja dismissed both of them.



Parthiv Patel stood firm, as he scored a much needed half century, as he was removed by Bravo after scoring 53(37), and powered by Moeen Ali's 26(16), RCB reached 161/7, with Deepak chahar's 2/25, Jadeja's 2/29  and Bravo's 2/34.


Dale Steyn and Umesh Yadav ripped apart CSK batting line-up, Ambati Rayudu scored a 29(29) and later skipper MS Dhoni alone waged a lone battle, as he scored a much needed half century, and took close to a win though his 84(58)* wasn't sufficient as they ended at 160/8 losing, as RCB won by 1 run.
