Last week tamil, malayalam and kannada film industries resumed the post-production with certain restrictions and regulations. Now, the telangana government has also granted permission to the telugu film industry to resume the post-production work from today (May 22). State minister for Cinematography, Telasani srinivas Yadav, made the announcement on thursday (May 21) after holding a meet with popular film personalities at Chiranjeevi's residence in Hyderabad.

Following this, actor mahesh babu took to social media to post a picture of himself sporting a mask and said that it is time to adapt ourselves to the new normal. He also urged his fans and colleagues in the industry to wear masks every time they step out of their homes. mahesh babu wrote, "We are opening up. Slowly, but surely. In a time like this, masks are mandatory. Make it a point to wear a mask every time you step out, that's least we can do to protect ourselves and others."

In another post, he said, "It may seem odd, but it is the need of the hour and we must get used to it. One step at a time! Let's adapt to the new normal and get life back on track. It's cool to be masked. I am. Are you?." telangana government has advised the technicians to wear masks and follow the necessary precautions at the workplace to avoid the contraction of the novel coronavirus. The makers of films and tv soaps, who are planning to work during the lockdown, should get permission from the concerned authorities and give details about their nature of work. Regarding resuming film shoots, the government had apparently asked director rajamouli and koratala siva to hold indoor and outdoor mock shoots and present the video to the government. They will review the situation post lockdown and the decision will be taken accordingly.
