dance choreographer, actor, and director Prabhudeva ad last acted in director AL Vijay's Devi 2 co-starring tamannaah and later also helmed the salman khan starrer bollywood flick dabangg 3 which had met with a mixed response from the audience.
While he is now directing Radhe with salman khan again, actor Prabhudeva is all set to return as a cop himself with the long-delayed movie Pon Manickavel which is helmed by AC Mugil Chellappan known for making his debut with the Shantanu starrer Kanden.
Pon Manickavel will feature indian Michael Jackson Prabhudeva as a cop for the first time in his career and is bankrolled by Jabak movies. It has now been made official that this movie which also stars nivetha pethuraj and suresh menon will be releasing in the OTT platform on July 2nd week. There are reports that the movie is bagged by Zee5 platform even though the satellite rights of the movie are with sun network. The theatrical release which is scheduled on the month of february got postponed at the last minute due to the financial issues faced by the producer of the movie.
