As the coronavirus pandemic lockdown has impacted shooting of movies and reopening of theatres across the world, lots of small as well as Big films have opted for direct release on OTT platforms.
As far as bollywood is concerned the ayushmann khurrana, amitabh bachchan starrer Gulabo Sitabo released on amazon prime, and next the movies Shakuntala Devi, dil Bechara, Laxmmi Bomb, Bhuj the Pride of india, Sadak 2 are going to have OTT release between July and October.
Now shruti Haasan's hindi movie Yaara, helmed by tigmanshu dhulia and co-starring vidyut jammwal which was long-delayed and was in the making for long is being announced to premiere on ZEE5 OTT platform on July 25. shruti haasan who had an idle time for a long while is now back into the game and currently, she is working along with vidyut jammwal for a hindi movie. The actress is also looking to sign new projects in telugu and tamil film industry. shruti haasan is working with vijay Sethupathy for 'Laabam' and the movie is helmed by SP Jananathan. The shooting is stalled due to the corona virus outbreak and in telugu she has 'Krack'.
