Way back in 2017, a movie named Karuppu raja Vellai raja was launched amidst much hype and the movie was to feature vishal and karthi in lead roles and Sayyeshaa as the female lead with prabhu deva as the director and to be bankrolled by Isari K Ganesh.
Unexpectedly the movie did not make any progress and had been shelved and it must be noted that Karuppu raja Vellai raja had been launched with the purpose being the contribution of the profit made by the movie to construct Nadigar Sangam building.
Isari Ganesh in a recent video said, the payment was made to both prabhu deva and harris jayaraj and vishal and karthi were to be given salary post the trade but vishal did not turn up for the shooting and if at all he had come for shooting, the Nadigar Sangam building would have got constructed said, Isari Ganesh. Actor vishal is in a hurry to make his films and he is already starring in three films adding one more to this list he is acting with Shruthi Haasan under his banner for an untitled venture.
