Recently, the actress was trolled ruthlessly for accepting Fairness cream brand endorsement. Despite her TedX talk got appreciation, she was trolled for being a double-faced person. The actress opened up and revealed why she agreed to be a part of the brand endorsement.
The actress said, "I like this color and felt sad for dusky-skinned people. I myself asked the team why they chose me and they said this is just a cream that enhances the glow of the face and in the ads, they won't show a card to show the change in color. I don't see anything wrong in the ad. Also, the team promised they won't tell anything about glorifying white color." Now, Fair and Lovely fairness cream have changed their name to 'Glow and Lovely' and this was officially confirmed by Unilever.
