Here’s the real essence of Make In India as experienced by Hemant Khatri, from Sanganer(Jaipur). Hemant Khatri is a tapestry manufacturer based in Sanganer.  He was introduced to Amazon.com when he registered for the Global Sales program. Hemant started by listing a few tapestry designs on Amazon.com and tasted instant success. Today, he maintains an inventory of 30,000+ products in Amazon’s Fulfilment Centres in the US as well as in UK. Today over 294 million global customers of Amazon are able to access his exquisite tapestry that has found immense appeal among all customer segments.

The ‘Make in India’ Store on Amazon.in showcases a wide range of India made products across hundreds of categories including Fashion, Beauty, Sports & Fitness, Electronics, Food products, Luggage, Furniture, Health, Home etc. all manufactured in the country. Special deals are being offered on all the products.  To add cohesiveness to the page and bring out the relevant theme, Amazon has created a design style guide inspired by elements in the Make in India week logo, which has been used across the home page and the dedicated storefront.
