Electronic gadgets became integral part of people and one cannot think of even a second without them. According to the latest Australian scientists team developed a new technique to boost energy efficiency of computers by 25%.
Scientists team from The Australian National University (ANU) in Caberra along with US technology giant Microsoft, came with a technique for computer operating systems that could boost the efficiency of large data centres by 25 per cent.
The new system will share the processing power of the computer's operating system which will upgrade the energy efficiency for the servers that run searches and interact with the users.
Sharing of the computer's processing power known as the ability of a computer to manipulate data would activate the improved efficiency.
The scientists team found out a way for the processes hat are not time critical to use the operating system while it is idle, and to quickly step out of the way when search requests come in.
