State Bank of India (SBI), in its constant endeavour to empower Indian women, is organizing a Community Outreach Programme under the title “Vanita Arogya Sampada” by conducting over 100 FREE health check up cum awareness camps for women across the country on the occasion of International Women’s Day i.e. 8th March 2016.

 

These camps by SBI would focus on Curative, Corrective and Preventive Healthcare for the under privileged women and would cover the following areas:

  1. Eye Check-up

  2. Cancer detection

  3. Reproductive healthcare check-up

  4. Basic health check-up (Blood Pressure, HB etc.)

  5. Diabetes check up

 

Along with basic healthcare check-ups, if required, women will also be given consultancy by doctors on their future course of action and treatments. SBI has created special Information materials on common illnesses among women, their prevention and dietary care, etc. which will be given away to the women during the camp.
