Forevermark is delighted to announce the new Artemis™ Collection in collaboration with master couturier Bibhu Mohapatra. The designer is no stranger to dressing the world’s fashion icons – from Gwyneth Paltrow, Priyanka Chopra to First Lady Michelle Obama. It was only fitting for Forevermark, the diamond brand that comes with apromise of beauty, rarity and responsible sourcing, to partner with the maverick to create his first ever jewellery collection.

With three key motifs seen in earrings, rings, bracelets, pendants and brooches, the Artemis™ collection is inspired by the sun, moon and stars. A central Forevermark diamond emerges as the definitive element in each design. It took 18 months for the designer’s sketches to translate to jewellery – a true challenge to harmoniously merge design with precise engineering. For instance, the Artemis™ bracelet has a unique scratch finish, with diamonds in an invisible setting. The core motifs, exquisitely crafted stars, shine brilliantly, without losing definition.

This Artemis™ collection is for the evolved woman who appreciates fine jewellery. She believes these pieces are not merely for decoration; they represent a state of life together, allowing her to feel confident and empowered. Bibhu Mohapatra, Designer, “Since centuries, the skies have been looked upon for guidance and harmony in our lives. I’ve combined the surreal forms of the sun, moon and stars to create sensual, romantic jewellery. The central thought behind the Artemis™ collection was inner balance and outer strength, making it a very special collaboration for me.

Forevermark and I have a strong partnership, as I have previously accessorised my shows at New York Fashion Week with Forevermark collections. Their commitment to craftsmanship and excellence, represented by these beautiful, rare and responsibly sourced diamonds, are synonymous with my design philosophy.” Sachin Jain, President, Forevermark India, said, “We are pleased to collaborate with Bibhu Mohapatra who seamlessly blends the sensibilities of the East and the West in his fashion, as he has done so once again in our new Artemis™ Collection.

These elegant pieces go beyond traditional Indian jewellery and yet retain an heirloom value. Forevermark diamonds are amongst the rarest and have been formed over millions of years. Less than one percent of the world’s diamonds are eligible to carry the Forevermark inscription.  These diamonds are said to be as old as the sun, moon and stars, so this collection has a powerful story to tell.” The Artemis™ collection is made of 22 pieces and will be available in stores on 18 April 2016. The collection will be exclusively available at: Bangalore - C Krishniah Chetty, AbaranMumbai - Mahesh Notandas, Om JewellersDelhi - Hazoorilal Legacy, NTS Navrattan JewellersKolkata – Sawansukha JewellersBaroda – Narayan JewellersChennai - VBJ
