Ingredients:
  • Spinach (200g - cooked and chopped)
  • Egg (1)
  • Whole Wheat Flour (150g)
  • Baking powder (1 tsp)
  • Garlic (1 clove - minced)
  • Onion (1 - chopped)
  • Pepper
  • Salt
  • Nutmeg
  • Olive oil (for frying)


Method:

  • Place all the ingredients in large ball and blend until combined.
  • Heat olive oil in a frying pan and shape the paste into small patties with the help of a spoon.
  • Carefully lower the patties into the hot oil, in batches.
  • Fry until crisp and brown, turning once during cooking.
  • Remove from the oil using a slotted spoon and set aside to drain on kitchen paper.
  • Repeat the process with the remaining patties.
