Panchamrut Potatoes
Ingredients
250 gms small size potatoes
1 cup thick tamarind juice
2 tsp honey 1 tsp red chilli sauce
1 tsp green chilli sauce
1 tsp garam masala powder
1 tsp sesame seeds, roasted
1 tsp salt 2 tsp butter
Method of preparation
1.Wash, peel and pierce the potatoes slightly with a frk on all sides.
2.Grind the coconut and the roastedsesame seeds to a paste.
3.Now mix the tamarind juice, honey, red and green chilli sauce, garam masala powder, ground paste, salt and butter till well combined
. 4.Pour the mixture into a container of the cooker and place the potatoes in it., or use a 2-litre pressure cooker. Pressure cook for 5 minutes. 5.Serve hot garnished with grated cheese, roasted cashewnuts, chopped coriander and curry leaves. 6.Serve with rice or paratha.
