Niharika konidela is bright and lively, and gets her act right with her lovely expressions and performs well in emotional sequences and the romantic ones. Sumanth Ashwin has come a long way, and has performed in a matured manner with subtle underplay. The rest of the cast including Naresh and Murali Sharma are adequate and excel in their roles as they are a cakewalk for the veterans.
Background score by S Thaman is soothing , matching the feel good theme of the movie. Bal Reddy's Cinematography captures the essence of the romantic entertainer right, with colourful visuals. Debutant director Lakshman karya has opted to go for a fresh pairing, and a decent plot, and has fairly succeeded in presenting it as well. Niharika konidela is the biggest highlight of the movie and emotes beautifully, and sumanth Ashwin has improved much, and their chemistry is impressive. Veterans Murali Sharma and Naresh put forth interesting support performances elevating many sequences.
While the first half moves at a brisk pace, post the introduction of the conflict point, the second half goes even fast, with interesting episodes and except that the movie gets preachy at times, happy wedding is neatly etched. The way Lakshman karya has designed the characters of Niharika and sumanth makes Happy wedding very interesting, and gives the audience a relatable and engaging romantic experience on screen. All said, this small flick springs a surprise with its engaging and pleasant content and performances.
