Mysuru sources reported that exuding confidence of a win from Badami in North Karnataka, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said that he would visit it for just a day and hold only one public meeting in the constituency. He said "The rest will be taken care of by the local leaders," further adding that he would file his nomination for Badami at 2 pm, Tuesday.

Police have arrested a 22 year old woman near Harur for kidnapping and living with a 15 years old boy. Baskaran, a 15 year old boy belongs to vetakadamaduvu village of Harur district.
