ABCD Krishna (Sudheer Babu), the CEO of Wincraft in USA returns to India to meet his friends and be part of his school alumni. While returning to his hometown Krishnapuram, Krishna recalls about his best friends and his endless love towards Radha (Nanditha Raj), who inspired him to dream big and supported him in his journey towards achieving his dream. In his, early school life Krishna was a pudden-head, like they always say “Ammayila mundu prestige samanyudini kuda Everest ekkisthundi” Radha was his real good inspiration. He finds his true love with her and tries to propose her through a love letter. But the letter reaches Radha’s mother (Pragathi). College principal Nageswara Rao (Posani Krishna Murali) summons both of them to his cabin and clears things between them. At the office it was an eye-opener for Krishna and plans to reach his goal first, then plans to think about love. Will Krishna find his true love at School reunion? Did Radha wait for him? Forms the rest of the storyline.

The high light of the film is a committed performance from Sudheer Babu – in fact this is his best performance so far. The nature with which his character is carried on to the screen with some bright lines and also with a finesse that rarely seen in Telugu films these days, when it comes to acting. He even impresses us with his dance moments in few songs. Nanditha Raj is pretty and composed in her role. Posani Krishna Murali, Chaitanya Krishna, Giribabu, Raghubabu are good in their limited roles. The performances of the rest of cast, which including some fresh faces, are mostly nothing to rave about.

Krishnamma Kallipindi Iddarini is actually centered upon the importance of parents, teachers, friends and love. Movie is an official remake of 2013 Kannada super hit Charminar. The original is said to be a trendsetter in Kannada film Industry. Chandru who produced and directed the Kannada version have directed this film. The story of Krishnamma Kallipindi Iddarini tries to showcase the importance of goal, inspiration and love in life. Though we have seen the same story repeated in many films in the past that have hit screens earlier, this one standout for the minor twist in the plot that the writer – director Chandru has  in the story. What usually happens in films of these genres is that the individual stories tend to be too dewy-eyed and the connecting links are often flakey or at times, even sappy. Here too, curious conjunctions tend to happen that meanders the stories eventually. Of course, the stories need to have some genuine relevance to be made all over again. But sadly here the story doesn’t really fits in the Telugu nativity and current times. The script is pretty tame and the director barely packages his film, beyond the limitations of the script. One gets the feeling that if it was presented in more entertaining tone with more briefing points on the Krishna/Radha’s life, things would have been really different.

Hari has composed good hummable numbers. However, there are too many speed breakers due to songs thrust into the film’s narration. The background score complement the scenes. K S Chandra Sekhar’s camerawork is neat. The locals of Karnataka, as well as waterfalls look beautiful. Art department was all right. The length is certainly long and Editor Ramesh Kolluri should have trimmed a bit more. The production values of “Rama Lakshmi Cine Creations” are good.

Krishnamma Kallipindi Iddarini is a story worth narrating but the problem is with the way it has been narrated. The story meanders without a clear plan or direction most of the time and makes it all into a long-winded journey in the end. This is not a bad film, but could have been much better, if it were made with more cacoethes.

Sudheer Babu,Nanditha,R. Chandru,Lagadapati Sridhar,Hari.Krishnamma Kallipindi Iddarini - lacks the finesse to qualify as a feel good entertainer.
