According to sources, ‘Talaash’ is actually an inspiration from a true incident which was experienced by one of the writers Zoya Akhtar. Recently she was sharing her thoughts when she recalled an incident returning from a party in south Mumbai along with her friends when something unexpected happened.
She mentioned that all of them including herself went through the experience that night and it became the key point for making ‘Talaash’. The film is directed by Reema Kagti and it also has Kareena Kapoor and Rani Mukherji. Zoya is the sister of Farhan Akhtar. And with the news of this being a true experience the film has gained more weight and attention.
