Dhanush who is a professional actor also endorses various products. He recently acted in OLX ad and also became brand ambassador for Tata Sky DTH. The advertisement for the dish is being aired on all leading channels. But the recent ad has caused problems for the actor.
Dhanush has said that these cable operators are cheating by showcasing unwanted channels. He also added that in Tata Sky there are no hidden charges where as in cable TV you have to pay all those extra fee.
This ad has caused rage among Cable operators. Regarding this, Tamil Nadu Cable TV Operators' General Welfare Association General secretary, G.Dhamodharan said, "We strongly condemn popular actor Dhanush for insulting cable operators in an advertisement for a DTH company. Apart from that he also should make an unconditional apology to us."
Failing to do so, we will protest in front of his home. They also requested TN Government to ban the advertisement immediately. Now the big question is will Dhanush step down and apologize or not ? So far the actor never responded to any allegations.
