Superstar Mahesh Babu's Brahmotsavam shooting came to a grinding halt according to sources in Tollywood. The movie was supposed to be shot in Ramoji Film City till this month end but is now not happening. It is said that Mahesh Babu was not happy with the way movie is shaping up and he paused the film as a result.
Srikanth Addala reportedly submitted the bound script of Brahmotsavam before taking the film on the sets. However Mahesh noticed in this sets that he is resorting to too much of on the spot improvisations which may backfire. He reportedly asked Addala to take his time and finalize the script. And that postponed the film shoot.
Mahesh Babu bagged a big hit with Srimanthudu and it came after two back to back disasters — Aagadu and 1-Nenokkadine. He do niit want to risk the hard earned success now. Srikanth Addala who delivered a super hit to Mahesh with Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu is hoping to recreate the magic once again.
The movie is being planned for Summer-2016 release. The film will be most likely the first star release in Summer. Samantha, Kajal Aggarwal and Pranitha are playing the female leads in this film. Potluri Vara Prasad will be producing the film on his PVP Cinemas banner. Mickey J Meyer is the music composer.
