Kamalhaasan's 'Thoongavanam' was produced by RKFI and Sri Gokulam movies as a joint venture. The movie got release on November 10th and it was labelled as a 'Hit' material. Trisha has done the female lead role. Madhu ShaliniAsha Sarath, Prakash Raj,Sampath, Uma Riaz and Kishore are part of the cast.
Rajesh.M.Selva made his debut with this movie. The movie got released in Telugu under the title 'Cheekati Rajyam'. The movie tasted similar success even in neighbouring state. Kamalhaasan is happy with the success ratio.
Now the movie is going to have an official release online. Just like Hollywood movies, these days South Indian movies are also getting released online within a span of 30 days. Lots of movies get released in short period. Thoongavanam follows same line.
