Akkineni Akhil's debut movie, Akhil has ended up as a nightmare for buyers as well as fans. The movie which had managed to amass 16.32 Crore share in its first weekend run (5 days) just managed 17.4 Crore in its two weeks run so far.. The movie's full run may be complete by this Sunday which means it will end up with some 10-20 Lakhs more.
The movie had seen the highest pre-release business ever for a debutante to the tune of 47 Crore and could not even to touch the best figures by a debutante. Ram Charan's Chirutha which released several years ago had seen 21 Crore share. This is the biggest disaster in Telugu this year. Here is the breakup of Akhil first weekend collections:
