Vijay is working round the clock under Atlee direction for the movie titled 'Theri'. The team has announced that the movie 'may' have shades of Vijaykanth's 'Chatriyan'. They also grabbed the rights of the movie from the right persons before starting the project.
Samantha and Amy Jackson are the two female lead roles. Amy Jackson reprises role of a bold independent girl who lives in hostel. Samantha is doing role of Vijay's spouse. GV Prakash handles musical department. George.C.Williams is the cinematographer.
Kalaipuli.S.Dhanu on behalf of 'V' creations produce the movie. Azhagam Perumal, Kaali Venkat, 'Motta' Rajendran and Soundar Raja are part of the supporting cast. Now the opening song lyrics are revealed. It will begin as 'Jithu Jilladi'. The composer tweeted the news.
Music director G.V.Prakash tweeted, "#theri #GV50 #jithujilladi .. Jithu jilladi mitta killadi . Wait for ilayathalapathys single shot dance for 40 seconds in the song." Rokesh who wrote lyrics of 'Aaluma Doluma' in Ajith's 'Vedalam' has wrote lyrics for this song too. Music composer Deva has sang the song.
