Vishal Film Factory banner and Pasanga productions produces the movie as joint venture. Technical team includes Hip Hop Tamizha Aadhi for music and Bala Subramaniam for cinematography. Even though the movie is hooked up in middle, the business seems to be clear.
Sri Thenandal Films who used to get distribution rights of Horror movies, have grabbed 'Kathakali'. After a long period they have grabbed rights of a action genre. They never tasted success after 'Maya'. 'Rudhramadevi', 'Urumeen' were huge losses for the company.
The news was officially confirmed yesterday. A poster was released with Thenandal Films banner name on it. The poster clearly mentioned that the movie will be a Pongal release.
